Leicester city target Mbaye Niang is all set to sign a new contract. According to reports, AC Milan are set to offer the 21-year-old a new contract.
Niang is a long-term target of defending premier league Champions Leicester City. Many Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Tottenham was interested in the youngster. Leicester even had made a reportedly £12m bid but failed to secure the services of the player. Niang has so far played two games for Milan. He scored a goal and has an assist to his name.
Niang is a very versatile player and can play both on the right and left wing but his best position is centre-forward. He has scored 20 goals and assisted 10 while playing in that position. The attacker’s career has been marred by injuries though and he hasn’t been able to develop into the player he once was touted to be. He does have time on his side, however.
Milan has been recently bought by Chinese Consortium and it seems they already have started some serious business.
