Barcelona are reportedly interested in Arsenal’s young right-back Hector Bellerin. Bellerin was signed from Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy in 2011 and since then, he has been an integral part of Wenger’s starting eleven.
Bellerin was earlier linked to Barcelona but Arsenal refused to sell him. Dani Alves who had a year left on his contract, decided to Join Serie A champions Juventus on a free transfer. Alves’s replacement Aleix Vidal who was signed from Sevilla for a sum of €17,00 m has so far failed to impress. Aleix Vidal is reportedly considering his future after not being included in the last two matches.
Bellerin has three years left on his contract and Arsenal is mulling an option to offer him a new deal that would keep the youngster at Emirates until 2021. The 21-year old has a valuation of £40million and that shouldn’t be a problem for the Catalans. However, it’s perhaps best suited for the youngster to stay and develop at the Emirates.
