Moussa Dembele, the Celtic forward is reportedly being scouted by Arsenal. Arsenal had sent scouts to watch the player in Celtic’s 3-3 draw with Manchester City. Dembele scored a brace in that match.
The 20-year-old had joined the Scottish side from Fulham on a free transfer. Arsenal and Spurs were linked with him but he preferred Celtic over these two clubs. Dembele came through the ranks at Fulham after joining them from Paris Saint-Germain in 2012. The versatile youngster has so far found the net 12 times including a hat-trick against arch rivals Rangers.
Apart from the Gunners, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also watching the player’s progress. There could be bids for Dembele in the upcoming transfer window but Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers already iterated his unwillingness to let go of the player. Dembele has been a permanent fixture in the Celtic starting lineup and it will be very difficult to entice him to a move elsewhere.
