AC Milan are reportedly planning a shock swoop for Chelsea midfielder Oscar. Oscar arrived from Internacional in 2012.
The Brazilian has so far played six matches under new manager Antonio Conte but has failed to impress. Oscar was one of the mainstays in Chelsea’s Premier League triumph in the 2014-15 season. He had found the net six times and laid on eight assists for them.
Milan are ready to offer a whopping £34million for the attacking midfielder. AC Milan was recently bought by a Chinese Consortium and have since been linked with a number of players including Harry Kane and Memphis Depay.
Conte has earlier said that he wanted to change the whole shape of their team and Oscar could face the sack. Conte has been playing a 4-1-4-1 formation with N’Golo Kante deployed in the holding midfield role while Matic and Oscar have played in slightly advanced roles. Conte loves to play with a three-man defence and has done exceedingly well with it. If he does opt for 3-5-2 set-up, the Brazilan has to sit on the bench.
