Real Madrid Players Rated In Massive Win Over Paris Saint Germain: Rampant Ronaldo Gets 8/10!

A determined city of Paris was not at all enough for Unai Emery and his side Paris Saint Germain as Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid got one of the biggest victories of their season to steer their season in the Champions League on the right path again. Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro were enough to get the Los Blancos through to the next round.

Here’s how the Real Madrid players have been rated:-

GK: Keylor Navas – 7/10

Made two solid saves but enjoyed a peaceful time without anything to do as well. A good outing for the Costa Rican.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 7/10

Dominated the opposition and he was really good the entire game, having a firm grip on the right flank.

CB: Raphael Varane – 7/10

He looked at home and comfortable playing in his home nation. Complimented Ramos perfectly and did his job throughout the night.

CB: Sergio Ramos – 7.5/10

Didn’t let Cavani breathe easy and also pitched in well against Mbappe whenever it was needed. Avoided all controversies and was a bit disciplined today as well.

LB: Marcelo – 7/10

Once again, he was an interesting outlet for Real down the left but he also enjoyed a good duel with Di Maria and came out on top.

RM: Lucas Vazquez – 6.5/10

Real are finally reaping rewards for their patience with Vazquez. The work rate was terrific and his beautiful cross did give Ronaldo a huge chance to score which the forward did utilize. Another good game for Vazquez and he’s getting a lot of praise.

CM: Casemiro – 7/10

Got a deflected winner for his side, tried really hard to win the midfield battle and added immense stability. Good day for the Brazilian.

CM: Mateo Kovacic – 5/10

Not really impressive and he had a mediocre game today. Got substituted later on.

LM: Marco Asensio – 7/10

Some of his footwork today left a lot of people gaping probably and Asensio did perform decently. Gelled a bit nicer with other forwards and did enough wherever he could.

FW: Cristiano Ronaldo – 8/10

The goal machine keeps his streak going as he’s scored in 9 consecutive games. Is he this generation’s greatest finisher?

FW: Karim Benzema – 5/10

Missed a massive one on one and couldn’t help his selection with a goal.

CM: Toni Kroos – 6/10

Eased proceedings and went back to trying to control the midfield again which a rusty Kovacic wasn’t really doing.

FW: Gareth Bale – N/A

LM: Isco – N/A
