The stage is set for Wolves to clinch the supreme prize in the Championship. Following years of instability, it seems like the time has come for the West Midlands club, as they are currently going through a golden phase in the second tier.
Nuno Espirito Santo has instilled a belief among the players and they have responded in such a way, which can send them straight to the Premier League next season.
Wolves have maintained their dominance in the Championship and they are going to face a stern taste when they travel to Madejski Stadium to face Reading.
Wolves brilliant run in the early days has taken the Championship by a storm but it remains to be seen whether they would be able to keep pushing for an automatic promotional spot or give away their lead.
The next two months will be massive as Wolves are set to face a hectic schedule and Santo’s priority will be to cope up with the rival sides in his pursuit to the top spot in the Championship.
Predicted 3-4-3 Wolves Starting Lineup Against Reading
John Ruddy is having a fabulous time with the Wolves and the 31-year-old will be standing under the crossbars in their clash against Reading.
Danny Batth didn’t feature in the last match as Ryan Bennett had his chance in the backline but against an experienced side like Reading, Santo will need the service of the English ace.
Conor Coady has been a regular this season and the Wolves captain is destined to be a part of the starting lineup.
Willy Boly will complete the three-man backline.
Wolves splashed a huge amount in the summer to undergo a squad overhaul and the gaffer has somewhat justified his spending. Everyone was shocked when Ruben Neves agreed to join the Championship side and the midfielder has been a revelation this season.
The 20-year-old will be there in the midfield to pull the string for his side.
Roman Saiss should start alongside Neves in the midfield.
Barry Douglas won’t be available as he is ineligible after accumulating five yellow cards and Rúben Vinagre is set to start in the left wing-back role.
Matt Doherty will be on the other side.
Diogo Jota has built up a formidable partnership with the other players and the 20-year-old will be on the left side of the attack.
Ivan Cavaleiro is a definite starter on the right flank.
Leo Bonatini is currently the highest scorer in the Championship and would be eager to add few more to his tally when Wolves take on Reading.
