Chelsea won their sixth Premier League title this season, after finishing last season at an unexpectedly middle position. All their players have been at the top of their form and have been playing a very crucial role in making the season a very successful one. They are now looking to continue their good run in the next season as well as they will be playing in the Champions League, and will have to face some of the best teams from all over Europe.
However, the Blues might have to do without their main man upfront Diego Costa, as the Spaniard might be keen for a move away from Stamford Bridge, the probable destination being either the Chinese Super League or his native country Spain. The current coach of Chelsea, Antonio Conte, is trying his level best to get the Spanish striker to stay back with the club for the next season but is also keeping his options open in case he has to let go of his spearhead this summer.
Among a number of players who have been linked with a move to the defending Premier League champions, one of the most significant is the Senegalese forward Keita Balde Diao, who currently plays in the Italian Serie A for Lazio. The 22-year-old striker has attracted interests from a number of clubs from all over Europe owing to his brilliant display of prowess and consistent goal scoring record this term.
The youngster has scored 16 goals in 31 appearances for the Italian club this season and has been on the top of his form. Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Everton are also looking to bag the Senegalese spearhead to strengthen their sides for the next season.
However, Lazio might not let go off their prized possession in the summer. However, the attraction of playing in the Premier League might be one of the major factors behind the player to take a decision about leaving his current club in order to join the current champions Chelsea for the forthcoming season.
Keita is known for his amazing dribbling skills and darting runs into the opposition defence that makes him so dangerous in the attacking third. He has the ability to score goals affluently, both from long range shots as well as from close range. He is also known for his pinpoint passing to set up his teammates in front of the goal, thus laying off useful assists. He has provided three of them this season.
