Is This Algerian The Answer To Arsenal’s Problems As Sanchez’s Contract Nears An End?

According to reports, Arsenal have already started to prepare for life without contract rebels Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez by plotting a £50 million double swoop for Schalke playmaker Max Meyer and Porto forward Yacine Brahimi.

While Ozil and Sanchez have settled in really well and combined to form a formidable duo in Arsenal’s final third, their continued ignorance to sign a new deal is increasingly making everyone at the club uneasy. With 12 months remaining on their respective contracts with Arsenal, the duo created a growing uncertainty surrounding their futures at the Emirates.

Ever since his move from Granada in 2014, Yacine Brahimi has been a revelation for Porto. In nearly three years with the club, Brahimi has featured more than 118 times and has become a key figure for them. This season, Brahimi has played 19 Liga NOS games for Porto, scoring five goals while providing four assists in the process. What’s even more exciting about Brahimi for Arsenal is his versatility, as he has the ability to operate from the wide areas as well as through the middle. And, at 27 he is having the beast season of his career.

Arsenal are famous for their attractive football and with a technically gifted player like Brahimi, he is looking like a perfect fit for the Gunners. There are very few players in the world who can match the Algerian’s insane dribbling skills. Brahimi possesses a brilliant close control and an amazing vision.

The Algerian international can deliver those crucial through balls and can create panic in any defence in the world. He is magical with the ball at his feet and possesses outstanding dribbling skills and to go with his technique. With Alexis Sanchez reportedly heading out, Brahimi could make the left flank position his own. Alex Iwobi has done the job so far out there but he is young and still needs to learn a lot.

The players who are technically skilled often tend to be selfish and can be frustrating for his teammates sometimes. If Brahimi wants to be successful at Arsenal, he has to cut his selfishness which he should add to his game. The player has all the skills it takes to become a success at Arsenal in coming years. So as things stand we have got a clear indication that Arsenal have started

As things stand we have got a clear indication that Arsenal have started preparing for Ozil and Sanchez’s possible summer exits from the club and have targeted Meyer and Brahimi. But while the replacements seem to have been identified, there is still a doubt whether they can provide the same value that the former La Liga duo provide at the Emirates.
