Anthony Martial’s agent has been reportedly contacted by Sevilla over a potential transfer. The French teenager hasn’t featured recently for the Red Devils.
Martial was a revelation last season after he arrived from Monaco. He was the highest scorer for the Red Devils with 18 goals. The French hasn’t been picked up by Jose Mourinho and has been linked with a move to West Ham United as well as Sevilla.
The arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his goal scoring prowess has forced Mourinho to left Martial out of the starting lineup. His limited game time has reportedly made him frustrated but he doesn’t want to give up.
Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli is very keen to bolster his attacking options and has reportedly asked Sporting Director Monchi to go ahead for the transfer.
However with a very tough fixture ahead and also FA Cup is scheduled to start next month, Mourinho is very reluctant to let go of one of his most promising attackers in January.
