A Brilliant Gesture From This Chelsea Superstar Defender

David Luiz has dedicated Chelsea’s win over Manchester City to the Chapecoense plane crash victims. Chelsea defeated City 3-1 to retain their place on the top of the Premier League.

77 people lost their lives after a plane carrying passengers including the passengers and staff of Brazilian club Chapecoense. 19 players of the club have been killed in this accident. David Luiz and Willian also paid tributes to the victims by showing their armband with ‘Forca Chape’ written on it.

After the match, the defender who also hails from Brazil said, “I want to dedicate this win to the people who died in Brazil,

“It was difficult to get my head together as I had some friends there. We just need to pray for the victim’s families.”

He further added,  “It was a great game. That’s what you expect in the Premier League. We showed our power, it also shows our character that we didn’t lose our heads.”
